Buckingham Garden Centre

We are a family run garden centre that is well known nationally as a specialist for bare rooted hedging plants and young trees. The Garden Centre always has a good selection of shrubs and plants which are not commonly found elsewhere, together with a wide range of the more commonly sought after plants. Established for over 50 years, the Garden Centre has recently been redeveloped to a high standard. Our shop contains the largest selection of seeds and bulbs for miles around, together with garden chemicals, tools, garden furniture and many other goods. Outside we stock peat-based and peat-free composts, paving, fencing, timber decking, garden buildings and greenhouses, and a large range of pots, statues and garden ornaments. Our aquatics centre has a good reputation for their excellent quality tropical, marine and cold water fish. The Gardeners' Retreat, our coffee shop/restaurant, serves fresh home cooked food and is an excellent way to round off any visit to the Garden Centre.

Every living thing needs water but the challenge for gardeners is how to make sure that the living plants in our gardens and houses get an adequate supply so they not only live, but thrive. In our opinion Hozelock is the best supplier of watering equipment in Great Britain and equipment manufactured by them will make the task of watering hassle free and, therefore, a pleasure. Hozelock, founded in 1959, were based in Haddenham, Aylesbury but their head office is now in Birmingham. They have been and are still at the forefront of watering technology. We are also able to provide you with water storage containers and fittings so if you wish to utilise the water that falls on your roofs we can help you achieve your goals. Not only will this help you still provide water for your plants when we get hosepipe bans, it is more environmentally friendly and it is better for your plants as the water is chemical free. Also, if you live in an area where the tap water is not lime free, rain water is ideal for watering any lime-hating plants such as camellias and azaleas.
