We are a family run garden centre that is well known nationally as a specialist for bare rooted hedging plants and young trees. The Garden Centre always has a good selection of shrubs and plants which are not commonly found elsewhere, together with a wide range of the more commonly sought after plants. Established for over 50 years, the Garden Centre has recently been redeveloped to a high standard. Our shop contains the largest selection of seeds and bulbs for miles around, together with garden chemicals, tools, garden furniture and many other goods. Outside we stock peat-based and peat-free composts, paving, fencing, timber decking, garden buildings and greenhouses, and a large range of pots, statues and garden ornaments. Our aquatics centre has a good reputation for their excellent quality tropical, marine and cold water fish. The Gardeners' Retreat, our coffee shop/restaurant, serves fresh home cooked food and is an excellent way to round off any visit to the Garden Centre.
We stock an ever-changing array of seasonal bedding plants to keep any garden looking colourful all year round.
In Spring, we have an extensive range of Pansies, Violas, Primroses and Polyanthus in straight colours as well as mixed so that planning your Spring display is easy. We also stock a wide range of potted bulbs at this time so that any gaps in the garden can be filled with colour.
During the summer, we have every variety of bedding imaginable in both multi-packs and single pots. We also have a wide range of ready-made hanging baskets, including traditional mossed baskets with colour coordinated planting and pots for that instant effect.
In Autumn, we have Winter-flowering Pansies and Violas in a vast selection of single colour six packs plus a very cost-effective range of 20 and 24 packs in mixed colours. The first Primroses and Polyanthus of the season are also available then as are the bare-rotted Wallflowers - always a popular choice for a beautiful and fragrant Spring display.
It is also worth noting that most of our bedding is British Grown, with the majority being sourced from less than 25 miles away.
