We are a family run garden centre that is well known nationally as a specialist for bare rooted hedging plants and young trees. The Garden Centre always has a good selection of shrubs and plants which are not commonly found elsewhere, together with a wide range of the more commonly sought after plants. Established for over 50 years, the Garden Centre has recently been redeveloped to a high standard. Our shop contains the largest selection of seeds and bulbs for miles around, together with garden chemicals, tools, garden furniture and many other goods. Outside we stock peat-based and peat-free composts, paving, fencing, timber decking, garden buildings and greenhouses, and a large range of pots, statues and garden ornaments. Our aquatics centre has a good reputation for their excellent quality tropical, marine and cold water fish. The Gardeners' Retreat, our coffee shop/restaurant, serves fresh home cooked food and is an excellent way to round off any visit to the Garden Centre.

Every year in Britain over five million wild animals and birds are injured as a direct result of their encounters with man’s world. Tiggywinkles, The Wildlife Hospital Trust, is a specialist hospital based in Haddenham, Buckinghamshire. Using every available veterinary welfare skill, they are dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating all species of British wildlife. They are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to take in all manner of sick, injured and orphaned wildlife with the aim of returning them back to the wild once ready. Tiggywinkles has pioneered much of the treatment now used for wildlife throughout the country and as a teaching hospital, they pass on their knowledge of wildlife care to vets, veterinary nurses, rehabilitators, students and the general public. Tiggywinkles survives on a solid base of membership and relies on donations from the public and sponsors to thrive. Tiggywinkles receive no state funding for the life-saving work carried out and this is offered completely free of charge to the general public. With your help and support they can continue to be here for wildlife in need.
