Buckingham Garden Centre

We are a family run garden centre that is well known nationally as a specialist for bare rooted hedging plants and young trees. The Garden Centre always has a good selection of shrubs and plants which are not commonly found elsewhere, together with a wide range of the more commonly sought after plants. Established for over 50 years, the Garden Centre has recently been redeveloped to a high standard. Our shop contains the largest selection of seeds and bulbs for miles around, together with garden chemicals, tools, garden furniture and many other goods. Outside we stock peat-based and peat-free composts, paving, fencing, timber decking, garden buildings and greenhouses, and a large range of pots, statues and garden ornaments. Our aquatics centre has a good reputation for their excellent quality tropical, marine and cold water fish. The Gardeners' Retreat, our coffee shop/restaurant, serves fresh home cooked food and is an excellent way to round off any visit to the Garden Centre.

CUSTOMER INFORMATION GARDEN CENTRE RE-OPENING We are pleased to be able to announce that following new Government guidelines, the Garden Centre has now re-opened While we adjust to the new social distancing, our opening hours will be: Monday to Wednesday 10.00am to 4.00pm • Thursday to Saturday 10.00am to 6.00pm • Sunday 10.00am to 4.00pm

CHANGES DUE TO COVID

Below is a list of some of the things we have changed. Thank you for your patience.

    • Please use our new Entrance and Exit routes
    • Please maintain a minimum Social Distance of 2M at all times and avoid congested areas
    • Please only visit if you have items you intend to purchase as we can't accommodate 'browsing' at present
    • We will be monitoring Customer numbers and restricting access when we reach capacity
    • We can only welcome assistance dogs at the moment
    • There is a new waiting area for customers outside of the store
    • Please shop alone if possible -we can provide help with lifting heavy items if required
    • Whenever possible no under 16's, except of babies and infants in prams.
    • We have provided a cleaning station at the entrance for you to use
    • We will be cleaning high contact areas, trolleys and baskets regularly
    • Contactless payment is preferred
    • Initially we have changed our opening times to help accommodate safe shopping and restocking
    • The Restaurant will remain closed until guidelines change
    • Customer toilets have been closed
    • Please complete your shopping in a timely manner
    • We have streamlined our product lines to focus on more essential items
    • If you are coming along for something specific, please call us first to see if we have it in stock. We may be able to save you       a trip. Likewise, if you require plant information or advice, please call first and speak to one of our team on the phone. This
      will help to minimise the level to contact when in store.

LOCAL DELIVERY AND “CLICK AND COLLECT” SERVICES

We are continuing our local home delivery service for those who want to shop with us but prefer to stay at home for safety reasons or if you are self isolating. We have also launched a new Click and Collect service so that you can safely collect from the Garden Centre if you prefer.
