Buckingham Garden Centre

We are a family run garden centre that is well known nationally as a specialist for bare rooted hedging plants and young trees. The Garden Centre always has a good selection of shrubs and plants which are not commonly found elsewhere, together with a wide range of the more commonly sought after plants. Established for over 50 years, the Garden Centre has recently been redeveloped to a high standard. Our shop contains the largest selection of seeds and bulbs for miles around, together with garden chemicals, tools, garden furniture and many other goods. Outside we stock peat-based and peat-free composts, paving, fencing, timber decking, garden buildings and greenhouses, and a large range of pots, statues and garden ornaments. Our aquatics centre has a good reputation for their excellent quality tropical, marine and cold water fish. The Gardeners' Retreat, our coffee shop/restaurant, serves fresh home cooked food and is an excellent way to round off any visit to the Garden Centre.

Our popular Apple event weekend will be over the weekend of 23rd & 24th September 2017. The Honey Show will be staged and judged on the Sunday.

GARDEN VISIT Buckingham Palace State Rooms and Garden Tour Wednesday 20th September 2017

Enjoy a leisurely day out at Buckingham Palace with a combined visit to the State Rooms and a guided tour of the most remarkable features of the famous garden. The Garden Highlights Tour includes the beautiful Herbaceous Border, the Wisteria-clad summer house and the Rose Garden, the enormous Waterloo Vase and the Palace tennis court, where The Duke of York, later  King George VI and Fred Perry played in the 1930s. GARDEN TALK 25 Years of the Parks Trust in Milton Keynes Wednesday 13th September 2017, 4pm

From concrete cows to (real) sheep, ancient woodlands to newly created parkland, The Parks Trust charity cares for over 5,000 acres of green space, equating to 25% of the total area of Milton Keynes. Click HERE for more details.

We have been joined by Peter Miller and wife Natasha with their fruit and vegetable stall on Sundays in the Garden Centre Car Park. Many of you will recognise Peter from Buckingham Market as well as markets at Biggleswade and Burnham Beeches. Plenty of wonderful fresh fruit and vegetables on sale and lots of friendly help and advice on what is in season and what is best to buy.

Also joining us on a Sunday at The Garden Centre is Crawley’s Family Butchers. Crawley’s are a well established Family Butchers with Quality Meats at Quality Prices. Come and have a chat with Lee on a Sunday! Meat packs are available on the day or to pre-order along with meat joints, bacon, sausages, burgers etc. Also on sale are pork pies and cheeses. Lee and his products that he sells have become a big favourite with Garden Centre customers!
