We are looking to recruit a
MAIL ORDER OPERATIVE & STOCK CONTROLLER
The role includes overseeing our mail order range of plants and stock. This includes the goods in process:
• checking plants are the correct size, quantity and quality,
• labelling plants and put stock onto the computer system,
• check that they have been planted in the correct beds or other reserve location.
This role requires attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to work under pressure, to work well in a team and happy to work outside in all weathers. It will include some heavy lifting.
At other times the role will be working with mail order team planting stock, picking and packing orders and general assistance within the department and also in other departments in the Garden Centre.
Horticultural experience and ability to drive a tractor, van and/or fork lifts would be beneficial, but training will be given.
Full time (40 hours/week) including some Saturdays.
